Our 21st birthday celebrations

Our first party was at the Civic Suite, Lewisham Town Hall on 17th July 2007. Mayor Sir Steve Bullock cut our cake, which was made by ex-student Claudette Spencer. Claudette, and other ex-students, made moving speeches about their experiences at the Project.

The next celebration, on 21st July 2007, was held at the Goldsmiths Community Centre. Bridget Prentice MP formally opened our Peace Garden, and Norman Griggs, the first Chair of the North Downham Training Project, opened the community party.
